Q4: Why is it called a landing page?
The terminology “Landing page” was created to describe the role of such a page. The internet specialists tend to think of the web users as surfers who are roaming around like birds, until they land on one page that meets what they are looking for on the internet. Once they land on this page, if they found what they are looking for they are hooked. This is how it got its name “Landing Page”.
Q5: Why are you doing a landing page?
This question is very important to answer in order to know how to create a successful landing page. A landing page is just like bullet. Just like the only use of a bullet is to hit its target, the landing page is all about hitting its targeted audience and motivating them into doing exactly the action you would like them to take. The resemblance between the landing page and the bullet extends to the fact that exactly as the bullet does not have any use except to hit its target, so does the landing page. Other than getting the desired action from the targeted audience, the landing page does not have any use.
Q6: How do you design a successful landing page?
There are three gradients for a successful landing page. However, before we address these three elements, let us define what as successful landing page is. A successful landing page is the page that would attract the targeted audience by providing the audience with what they are looking for, and at the same time would motivate the audience to take a certain action.
The three elements for a successful landing page are:
- An Attractive Title: The title for your landing page should answer the targeted audience question. The internet user should read the title for your landing page and say to himself; “This is EXACTLY what I am looking for!”
- An Illustrating Picture or Video: This is more of a visual aid that would emphasis t the message you are sending out to your audience. Its function is to demonstrate more vividly the message you are sending out to your audience.
- Subscription Box: This is all what your landing page is all about! The main action you need your web visitors to take is to stay linked to your website, and the only way to do so is to have their contacts so that you could keep in touch. No better way to do that than to get their e-mail address through a simple subscription box.
