This audacious video took the web by surprise. Made by BarelyPolitical.com the video featured a woman in a bikini singing about her love for Barack Obama. The video was a huge hit getting 1000 views within hours of its upload; it was also featured in mainstream news networks all over America.

-Vote different
Another unofficial viral video, this time it is a parody of a famous Apple ad from the year 1984. The video features a group of human automatons watching a video of Hillary Clinton talking in a monotonous voice about her plans. Meanwhile a young woman is sprinting towards the screen hammer in hand being chased by a group of soldiers. Finally the woman swings the hammer at the large screen, destroying it and freeing the automatons. The video had 5 million views.

Obama’s official site, it had excellent content related to his campaign subsequently it generated a lot of traffic. The site had answers for all the voter’s questions and had links to the most popular social media websites including twitter, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube.

-The use of social media
Obama had a presence on most of the social media websites. He announced who will be his vice president on tweeter before going to the mainstream media. His channel on YouTube has over 1800 videos. His official site had links to all the popular social media websites, all of this contributed to the fast dissemination of anything Obama had to say all over the internet and main stream media.
